in MRSA in Schools

Custodians have been cleaning Hopewell Elementary School extra carefully after school officials learned a student has contracted MRSA. A parent called the school system Wednesday and reported that her child tested positive for the staph infection, said Alan Bookman, superintendent of schools. Custodians cleaned the student’s classroom and the school’s common areas intensely that night, and returned for more cleaning the next night, he said.
