New figures on the rate of MRSA cases at Staffordshire hospitals show there is a slight decrease.
Between April and September last year there were 17 cases of the superbug reported to Mid Staffordshire General NHS Trust – down by two on the previous six months.
A spokesman for the trust said the fall was due to a range of measures put in place, including the ‘Cleanyourhands’ campaign.
